Aircraft Maintenance

British Airways Engineering is one of the world's leading aircraft maintenance businesses. Not only do we provide full support for the entire British Airways fleet (over 300 aircraft making an average of 1,000 flights a day), we also serve a number of other international airlines including many of our alliance partners.

Our goal is to ensure the safety of aircraft so that our customers can continue to keep their promises to their customers. Our products and services range from total support packages for entire fleets to component overhaul and aircraft painting.

Drawing on over 70 years' airline industry experience, the staff within British Airways Engineering enjoy a world-class reputation for engineering excellence. Meanwhile our technical and logistics expertise supports our operations on every continent 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

As a business we are constantly evolving in our quest for continuously improved performance and new ways of adding value through a range of maintenance, supply chain, component overhaul and technical services activities.

Our main hangars and workshops are located at Heathrow, Gatwick, Glasgow and South Wales. These are supported by some 160 line maintenance stations at airports all over the world.

There are also opportunities for Simulator Engineers within our Flight Training operation and A-Level school leavers with our Professional Engineering Programme.
